31 TE "Setee Box" Wanted

Post by Pitou »

I'm looking for a Setee drop in storage box that someone may not be using. Maybe you have one that's just collecting dust? Maybe we can make a deal??? Please let me know.

The other thought is to have a mold made of an existing one and have it duplicated.

When I was shopping for my 31 I never saw one in any of the boats that I looked at which leads me to believe that most owners have removed them and are not using them. I just first recently saw the box on addon323 / Rich's boat and that has lead me on this journey.

Attached are a couple of pictures of the desired box.

I definitely have that box on my boat. I remove it to access the port side of the port engine. Mine also has thick insulation on it for heat/sound. I am in Fort Pierce, FL. As far as making a mold of it, not sure how to help with the distance between us...

Thanks for the reply. Addon has offered his as a mold and it's in my possession. Another option if I can't find one not being used and offered is to make a box with fiberglass panels or Coosa board using the one in my possession as a template and glass fair and gel-coat to finish and certainly add the sound barrier too.

My 31 has such a box. I also installed a small foot rest below the settee opening two allow much simpler access below. It was made of starboard. I can get a picture is anyone is curious.
