New member -no boat
Hello, in the process of trying to decide which brand of boat to buy. Looking at the 28TE vs the Main Ship 30 pilot. Never had a boat before, but would like to keep/use it on the northeastern Chesapeake bay.

Hi Molly, and welcome.
We considered the Mainship 30 before buying our 28TE. We ultimately homed in on the Albin because we believed it was the more seaworthy vessel - not that we ever sea-trialed a Mainship. Just did lots of reading.
Have fun in your search!

Re: New member -no boat
Welcome to the board! I too looked at the main ship 30 prior to getting an Albin. The mainship was a very nice boat but the 28/31 te fit our planned use of the boat better and after reasing a lot and stepping on a few boats we decided on an Albin.

Hi again Molly -
Thank you for the private reply to my forum post . . . I think you may have inadvertently sent it to me privately instead of on the forum. When you want to reply to a forum message, look at the bottom of the page. At the bottom left is a button labeled Post Reply, which provides lots of formatting and attachment options. At the bottom center in a button labeled Quick Reply, which provides a text-only reply. Either one gets your message posted on the forum so that everyone can follow the conversation, which is half the fun.
