Hello Albin Folks,
We are brand new to the group. Not yet owners, but seriously seeking an Albin 27 at this time. Our boating history includes 12 years of full time bluewater cruising experience aboard a sailboat. After swallowing the hook we've been land based for the past decade. We think an Albin 27 would be ideal for exploring inland waters. Looking forward to connecting with other members on the site.

Welcome HappyAtLast. Albins at happy in our Ontario fresh water. Their ocean going capability can be especially appreciated in the big lakes. Good hunting.

Welcome Happy, There are several of us old bluewater sailors on here that have progressed to an Albin 27. It is SO nice to go through the crappy, snotty weather in our wheelhouse rather than our wide-brimmed hat and foulies in an open cockpit. You'll love it! Not to mention getting into the thin-water anchorages. Ben

Welcome to HappyAtLast. Lots of folks here have good things to say about the Albin. Have friends in the NW with the boat that are very happy. We have seen several at our PNW Rendezvous in the past at least one from BC, Canada. Happy to have your aboard.
