Hello,
Cindy and Paul in Cleveland, Ohio are hoping to join the ranks of proud Albin owners. We are searching for a 28 Tournament or Tournament Express. We are asking for some help in ascertaining the difference between the two models. So far, we find only the transom entrance to the cockpit as different between the two versions. Are there other significant variations? Any help will be appreciated, Merry Christmas!

Welcome aboard, Cindy and Paul! Poke around the website while awaiting responses from the cognoscenti. I know nothing, since ours is an A25. Start here, if you haven't seen this:

Re: New Members in Ohio looking for 28 T, TE
Welcome aboard & Happy Holidays this Christmas Eve! Your question might be best posted on the Tournament Express 26-35 model specific page since that's where the TE guys mostly hang out. The only variations I'm familiar with from ones I've seen is that one style has an above deck engine box and the other a flush cockpit sole with the engine under the floor. I'm not sure if that has to do with the designation of Express or not.

Thanks, DesertAlbin736, that's good advice. I did find the answer to the "flush deck" question yesterday on the forum; later editions had that option.

Welcome Abroad. Suggest you give Jack Pady of Pady Marine a call over on the Canadian side. He is former Albin Dealer and still has lots of contact with the Albin Boat Owners. Best and most honest Marine Broker I have ever met!
