If you can handle a recommendation from a Republican...

The Magna grills work very well, I love mine. I use the rod-holder mount. Last I checked it was producing minimal greenhouse gases...not sure if PETA approves of the burgers though...

Tofu Burgers ? No need to worry about the grill's gas production. The crew's Greenhouse gases would be another story!

I had a Magma party sized grill for many years. Stupid frustrating thing. The slightest breeze would blow it out.

One would think that every grill would be rod holder adaptable. They are not. Bought another Magma last year. One of the barrel shaped ones this time. Works great. Course it cost much more than the old party size too.

See pic I posted earlier today in Pictures

The old party size has been discontinued. Can't even get spare parts anymore. The new party size round design seems to have the wind issue beaten. We frequently raftup with a friend who has one.

Works fine in the rod holder.

Here's a good one. This picture is from a raft-up last year. Look behind the guy. Yup..full size gas grill. (on a wooden boat)
And yes, I was tied up next to him.

We have a Magma grill. Not sure which size. It only blows out in serious gusts. I've got the kit to connect it to the low-pressure side of our LPG system, so it should solve that.

MAGMA

Post by TonyAmalfitano »

I have a MAGMA CATALINA with a rail mount, and a pole holder mount.
The Catalina is $$$300+, but it's a GD good grill! The wind has never blown it out.
My Albin came with a Magma kettle grill which I gave to a friend. I'm a GD nice guy! Both grills have an adjustment on the gas tube to address the wind issue. 8)
