Excellent! Almost seems anticlimactic, doesn't it? Have fun tootling around.

I appreciate all the support and advice I've gotten from you guys (and gals) over the course of this project. It kinda blew our summer plans but there is still the fall and winter to go! Hope to run her this weekend as long as I can get some stuff done around the house before then! Also putting in the hatch in the rear deck for fuel fitting access...

Same thing here. Working on the new bathroom ahead of selling the house - it's killing my late season on water time!!

(On the other hand - we're off to the Vineyard for an extended anniversary weekend. So, while not on ours, we will technically be taking a boat trip!)

And congratulations Jeremy!! Get on out there!!

Doug I guess it doesn't help that the boat is now over an hour (well I've been in the car with you.. ) like 30 minutes from home now!

You're in NJ! You have plenty of time! Never mind the house stuff - it will all be there when the weather turns. Get out on that boat!

LOL that's true - just need to get some firewood chopped up and such - working Saturday till 2 anyway, so kinda a burnt day. Talked to the wife and we are gonna take her out sunday for a cruise up and down the bay. My dad was hoping to run his whaler too so hes gonna follow along incase something goes wrong   ...lol
As long as she checks out, gonna start playing some tog and striper trips :D

Before I forget, got a pic of the platform now that she's in the water...

Got the access hatch for the fuel fittings installed. That way I can get the deck sealed tomorrow!

So we took the boat out today. She ran great, the steering is loose so I think I need to refill the steering fluid. Other than that she is doing great. I will say we didn't push her beyond 15knts just to be on the safe side. Hoping to get her out fishing soon. Thrilled to have her running so well...
