Yup. And burp the coolant too once she gets up to thermostat opening temperature. Cap loose works good for that. Does that turrbo have an oil feed? If so make sure it's primed.

Yes it does have an oil feed, just like bleeding an injector right? Crank with it loose?

No its priming not bleeding. Take off the line and pour a few ounces of engine oil into the turbo feed fitting while spinning the turbo by hand. It will self bleed.

So the motor will now turn over. Followed the wires testing along the way and found that the power stopped at the neutral switch on the trans. However the glow plugs aren't working now, I traced the problem to between the glow timer and the plug at the boat end. So gotta work that out now...

Lol yes u did. And I thought the suggestion was rediculous because I figured they would try that first! Glow plugs are now working. PO rewired the glow plugs so the power goes from switch to timer to solenoid then back to light. Where the factory had it switch to timer to light to solenoid...so marina didn't plug that wire in. I fixed it. Lol

Nope didn't get the fuel system bled and still have to clock the shaft seal. Didn't get to it today so I'm gonna have the marina do it Tuesday. So hopefully will be purring by next weekend

Ha ha! I was going to make the same suggestion . . . been there, done that, learned our lesson on a previous boat. You feel so.dumb when you panic because the engine won't start. Uhhh, make sure it's in neutral . . . that detent can be tricky to find.

Yup, back up and running as of today! She sounds great, hoping to run her this weekend! She turned over quick, one small pop of white smoke then just ran great after that.
