How do you go about mounting the lights facing up? Led bulbs are polarized and only work in one direction and it does not look easy to turn the receptacle over.

These are surface mounted on a PCB Russ. They work both ways. I only tried it myself because when I first fitted them, the light was intense and almost direct despite the lens. Round the opposite way the light just seemed to be better diffused.
