Recently retired, considering Albin 27 FC

Post by Rhodesmj »

Moving to Hudson, FLA on a gulf access canal and considering an Albin 27 FC.
Boat seems to meet my needs ... trailerable, decent accommodations for my wife and I with occasional guests, good on fuel, good prices. shallow draft Would like some input from anyone knowledgeable about the 27 FC and eventually meeting up with some central FLA Albin owners. Thanks....Marc

We just bought a house in New Port Richey which is right next to Hudson.
Won't have the Albin there, but maybe we'll hook up sometime. Our plan is to move there in late October and be snowbirds for a couple of years.
Best of luck in your search!

Jay.....thanks for the note. My wife and I are also "snowbirds" from Wisconsin.
We just sold our house and are up in the great north woods of northern Wisconsin waiting until the lease is up on our house in Hudson before we move south in Oct or Dec depending on our renters.
I'd like to catch up with you to hear about your Albin experiences before I make my move to buy.
Good luck with your move.
Regards.........Marc
