trying to sell my boat

I have come to a very difficult decision to sell our beloved "Southern Belle". A 1981 36' Albin, I have advertised it on Yachtworld and on Albin Owners Group and am not getting in interest. I have lowered the price twice and still nothing, does someone have an idea of how I might sell it? It can be viewed at <link removed by moderator> Thanks

Your link leads to a general ad that lists the boat as a 26 not 36 and then clicking through the link this message appears:

"This boat can no longer be found in our database."

I'd try to get the 26 vs. 36 info addressed and find out why the link to more info is dead.

I don't understand, i went to Yachtworld and to Spectrumyachtsinc.com and they both have it listed at 36' and all data is there. Where did you look?

I clicked on the link that you provided to Spectrum that was posted above when you started this thread. It looks like the moderator has now removed it.

I searched your posts and you do not have the boat listed for sale on AOG, only 2 posts referring to it. One in the 36 forum stating that you are thinking of selling your boat and one post in the For Sale Forum where you responded to someone looking for a 36 and shared the link that leads to Spectrum that lists your boat as a 26 / clicking that link for more info brings me to "this boat can no longer be found in the database". Someone responded to you in this thread and you should reply.

I'd suggest that you start a thread in the For Sale Forum with better details and links.

When I hit the link it brings me to the condensed listing on Spectrum's site and lists it as a 26. Then clicking through for more detail is when I get the message that it is no longer in the data base. I just did this with the same result on my droid phone and laptop. Did you click through?

Left hand mouse button one click on link in origonal post. OS Win 10.. Nothing special or extra clicks. Brouser Chrome.

It brings up the description price reduction location etc.. Didn't go any further then that.

You're right. At first I thought the original poster provided a direct link to his boat and not to the broker's featured boat. Expanding the featured boat goes to the dead link. My mistake. Need to go further and do a "boats for sale" search to find the OP's boat listing.
