Has anyone used the product Hairline Fix from MagicEzy to seal gelcoat cracks? If anyone has tried it I am wondering what color, if any, would be a match for the tan-ish cockpit gelcoat in my 2004 28TE flush deck.

I used it on my last boat and it worked well. I also have used their Chip Fix with good results. Preparation is key, so follow the directions...

Bringing this one back to life - i am just about to try it. I have a few stargrazing marks in the hull so have opted for the forest green colour and i have a few hairline cracks in the gelcoat on the deck so have chosen the cream since my tan deck is now quite faded.

Colour match was pretty close - product on the other hand wasn’t brilliant. It really needs to be applied in the warm and doesn’t work that well on vertical surfaces. I just cleaned the stargrazing out with a pin and applied wax in the end.

Tried the stuff today, White Oyster, pretty good color match.
Crack still visible, will do a second repair after this one dries.

How did you clean or prep the cracks before applying? That looks like a good match.

Cleaned with acetone on a rag, let dry in the sun for 5 minutes.
