We just bought a set of Weaver Snap Davits on eBay for $150. Will use to mount a hard shell WM Watertender on our 27. With all hardware included weight is around 115lbs to platform, hang motor on rail. The nice thing with the davits is dingy is rock solid as you load or unload while hooked to platform, makes taking motor on an off a snap. Have no problem drilling holes in swim platform, worst case I can replace a board. Thanks, Mark.

probably 300# + Not sure but has worked well, with no stress cracks, for 6 yeras
