You can do much more with solar panels than just keep your batteries full.

I put two 130 watt Victron panels and I have a fridge and a freezer running all year round, only this fridge/freezer custom construction has to open from the top and be super well insulated; mine is 10 cm thick around the fridge and 15 cm thick around the freezer, bottom included.
(you can see one panel before installation and part of the fridge in this pic. Fridge inside volume is 70 liters -foreground, freezer inside volume is 30 liters-background. Needless to say anything about the batteries...)
