How are still finding the new Cummins?
What's the max speed and have you been able to get the boat to plane?

Very nice! And just in time to batten down the hatches for TS Colin!

Astor, Fl is located at Lat 29* 10' N/Long 81* 32'W. Center of TS Colin is forecast to pass through 29.1*N/84*W in 24 hours from 2300hrs EDT w/45 knot winds, moving through 31.8*N/79.5* W in 36 hours from 2300 hrs EDT tonight, building to 50 knot winds, plus "Strong winds, heavy rains and coastal flooding are likely to occur well to the east of the center."

Be safe!!!

Beautiful work. I particularly like the spotlight placement. Mine's right over Captain's seat. Another "What was the PO thinking" issue.

Great work Mark! I had some work done in Daytona by the guy that installed your engine. How about some more pics?

Hope you're weathering the storm. Rain bands just starting to hit Vero

JT, the Cummins is a jewell, some vibration at low rpm, but it's a four cylinder. Top speed to date is 11 mph, l need to repitich the prop to drop wot 200 rpm. Fuel burn is .86 gal per hour to date, cruseing at 8 mph. At speed it is bow high but not on plane. At cruise can carry on conversation with left seat passenger no problem, will put some insulation under hatch covers soon. Preformence is clean bottom, but heavy, stay loaded for a week on water.

Mark: will you be writing something up about the engine install and what it entailed? I'm curious how it fit as a replacement for the Nissan Ld28 and what you were able to keep from the old set up? In looking at the measurements I don't see any deal breakers. Did you make an engine mock up for alignment?

Thanks
