The Du NORD is 40 years old; am wondering whether the Engine Stop (fuel shut off) cable (wire?) needs some lubrication.
What are Y'awl doing?

Re: Engine Stop cable; Lube? Or not? With what?
Hi Nick, I'm doing fine!
The bendix cable gets so little use that it will certainly get dry and start rusting.
At the end of this season I would remove it, then hang it vertically and dribble engine oil onto the top wire and let it work its way to the bottom by gravity. Add a few drops at a time till it comes out at the bottom.
