Relocating some wires for nav... how much clearance between the top dash and the headliner/or whatever below? Think I can snake 12v wires?
Thanks Doug

Re: clearance under dark top
A25 or A27? Which headliner are you speaking of? The one in the cockpit or the lower cabin?

Re: clearance under dark top
There's a good bit of room between the headliner in the head and hanging locker area and the underside of the 'dash' - Plenty of room for all sorts of wires. On my boat there's a hole in the headliner in the hanging locker which feeds all sorts of cables to instruments mounted on the dash - Figure where you need the cable to come up out of the dash, drill a hole big enough for the connector(s) and fish a snake wire up from a hole in the headliner in the hanging locker to your new hole and use that to pull in any cable(s) you need. From the hanging locker, you can go aft and come out in the compartment with the door beside the helm which will allow you to get to the area under the helm for power, etc

Concur with Don. Also note my "cheat" to keep the upper dash clear. Definitely a "style" choice but plenty of room to put whatever you want.
