Our fuel injector pump needed a rebuild. It's under all the manifolds and heat exchanger. Everything came off. To pull the three mounting bolts out of the 1" hole you need a tiny magnet run through the socket or you will drop them right into the case........ Upon reinstalling the pump we reached in the hole only to tip the gear off its precarious position into the case. Although we can reach the gear, we can not see the match mark to line up the timing without pulling the front half of the engine off........
I'm writing this so someone else does not do the same thing. Normally on an engine like this that gear could not fall in like that.
