Need need new fuel sending unit
I have just had my aluminum fuel tank flushed and i need to replace the sending unit. I notice that there are several type available - some seem to be specifically for diesels, with provision for diesel return (whatever that is). Is this the kind I require? Or can I use any general type?

Re: Need need new fuel sending unit
After diesel reaches the injectors, some overspill is returned to the tank. If your old level sender did not have a pipe going to it, the return diesel must be going via another pipe, and you should just need a normal sender with one live wire going to the gauge and an earth wire.
