Here is a picture with the teak removed and the initial scraping done. I am going to sand next. I'll post more pictures when it is cleaned up better.
I have run into a snag with Sika. Apparently the adhesive I am to use (Sika 298) is no longer available in Canada. Does anybody have a suggestion for an alternative that might be more readily available? Could one of the 3M products work?

Epoxy the teak to the deck? I had not heard of that.

Teak Decking Systems did it all the time. In fact, that's the only way they did it unless you wanted it done another way for a lot more money and no warranty. Ben
