Rick, Guess I should have read ALL the posts on here before I replied to your "Maintenance" comment/question. I had a lot of problems with those dang slide electrical connectors on my gauges and switches too. I replaced most of the female connectors. The original connectors were really cheapo junk. Glad to hear you're OK again. Ben

Try to time things at high tide. The McDill channel is both narrow and shallow - Keep an eye behind you to stay centered in the channel, especially the first few hundred yards from the ramp

Don, sorry to hear about your lose. No matter what you decide to buy please stay in touch. You help the community a lot.

I have launched there before and your right about "high tide" Even a bass boat at low tide is not fun. I keep hoping the Channel will get dredged sometime. Having a "25" is a handful at that ramp. I do like the security of leaving the truck and trailer on base.

Having finally healed from the surgeries this last winter, I'm going cruising for a couple of days, and hoping to meet up with Rick on Sunday.

Wayne are you cruising the Bay? I got stuck in Cayman for a week. Be back this weekend if you are out and about. I'm changing out the water pump and plugging in a new impeller.

Rick,
We launched Sat. at high tide and headed out Sun. Spent three days cruising The Bay.

I found your boat in the marina, it really looked nice from the stern. I hoped you would be around but we will try again in Sept.. We are trailering our boat to Maine for the summer, leaving this Saturday.
