Interesting that you narrowed the model years to a fairly tight window. Reasoning?

I came up with those years after looking at the market and my price range $50-$65k. I favor the engine box model. I'm really just looking for the right used albin. I just missed two in my area by a week but I'm hopeful something will come up.

Welcome Jokerhigh: Your's is a good choice. Some very nice 28te's out there. Your price range may be a bit low, but it all depends upon engines, hours and desire to sell. Best luck to you. Stay in touch.

It also depends on the deal you can find. I got a boat that needed some freshening up and was being sold because of health issues. It was very well optioned (genny, ac, outriggers, etc) I got it for about 1/2 your budget and out another 8-9k into it and some sweat equity. Just keep your eyes out and the right boat will find you!

I want to thank everyone for there encouragement I was able to find a great deal on a 1997 Albin 28 "Salty dogs"
She was delivered last week. I been working all weekend cleaning her up and running her around the bay.
Thanks again
Two questions:
If anybody has any info on solar power it would be appreciated I keep her on mooring and I need to keep one battery charge for bilge pump.
I'm also looking for a diesel mechanic in the Annapolis area that can work on the beast for regular /preventive maintenance. Until I can learn the basics.

Thanks again
Eric
