New name and other projects done!

So after a very productive fall/winter/and very first part of spring, I think (hope) shady lady is ready. This has been a bit of a marathon session but almost every system has been messed with in some way...with several systems getting a full overhaul. Just a few minor things that still need tending to (should get them done wed at the latest) and they can bottom paint and slash her. All I still need to do is check one bolt on the cutlass bearing housing, replace the raw water impeller on the main, and replace the genny zinc and done...lol.

What's been done:
Full electronics package with radar
Replace wipers with pantographs
Sand/wet sand/compound/polish hull - (has some major uv damage so a repaint is in the future)
Replace all raw water hoses
Replace freshwater pump
Replace hot water heater element
Replace raw water washdown pump
Replace live well pump
Replace a few through hull fittings
Rebed remaining through hulls
Replace cutlass bearing
Replace dome light
Add rear roof and wire in new lights under the roof
Replace side spreader lights with led
Apply new name
Replace shower sump
Replace forward bilge pump
Clean and rebed radar arch
Clean and rebed trim under window (did not fix the leak-gonna have to rebed port windshild)
Replace vhf
Replace stereo
Im sure Im forgetting a bunch - swim platform and new cockpit enclosure are next year!

So I finnaly got down to the boat while it was dark to yest out the new led lights. I couldn't be happier. The rgb strips under the soft top turn the back into daylight if you want it but is very adjustable for brightness and color. Gotta say the green was my favorite. The new dome light from west is super bright so I might actually have to wire in a resister to dim at least the red light. Just need a pile of 912 bulbs for the cabin dome lights and im good to go!

That list and your boat is very impressive.

I have a similar list but my boat has met with a minor (major) disaster. I have been waiting all winter to wrote about it. Its so upsetting I cant really talk about it and I am still waiting for the company I hired to fix it all.

I hope to see your boat one day! Maybe send a video of those lights. I am interested.

Thanks for the kind words. Sadly it will be some time till im here at night again. Hopefully by then she will be in the water. I have the same system on my deck at home under our gazebo so I can send video of that.

Im afraid to ask but what happened with your boat? It sounds like it's really bad:/
