Tremendous number of jellyfish at my marina this summer. Barring a school of mola mola or sea turtles charging in to devour them, how do I keep them from being sucked into my air conditioner water intake?

Here's two tips. If you are at a Marina and they don't mind, tee into the intake line somewhere after the filter and hook a 3/4" ball valve and garden hose to the tee so you can hook directly to their fresh water...just crack the hose a bit and your're good to go. This is what I did after the Marina owner said it was ok.
They guy next to me did something similar but he put a submersable sump pump in a minnow trap, hooked a garden hose to it and just hung it over the transom with a rope. He plugs in and is good to go. His total set up cost him less than 100.00 and mine cost me about 35.00. Either will work as long as you either have a water supply and or electricity.
Last year before I tee'd into my line, I sucked stinging nettles in twice, once at midnight and once at 3 in the morning, on the hottest nights of the year.
