transom zinc mounting bolts, bronze or stainless?
The title pretty much says it all. Last year I replaced my transom zinc mounting bolts on our 40' classic trawler because the connections from the bonding system were corroded and there was no good way to attach new wires. I used stainless threaded rod, washers and nuts to gain attachment for the wires inside and the diver's dream zincs on the outside. I since learned that bronze is much more conductive than stainless steel. Anyone think it's worth the time and expense to re-do? There are 4 ?3/8" studs connecting to 2 zincs. The zincs are showing more wear than before, so at least I know there is a working connection.

I think your good as you are. I have seen diver plates mounted with both bronze and stainless.
