Peninsular air filter
Has anyone replaced the factory air filter with something better? I was thinking of going with a k&n universal for or similar...

Re: Peninsular air filter
I figured out after some detailed measuring that a k&n won't fit. Did you mechanic suggest which airsep would be the closest?

No, unfortunately he did not specify as he was the mechanic for my purchase survey and was not familiar with the boat, let me know what you find, I'm leaving mine "as is " until a better solution. Does your Penninsular have a coolant recovery tank?Mine does not and I'm planning on rigging one up this season, I'd like to see what other Penninsular owners have done,

Re: Peninsular air filter
I've decided to remote mount a k&n filter/arrestor. I have the filter in hand gonna figure out where it fits. It's made for a 4" pipe, gonna try and just use a short 90 but I'll have to try it out. I don't have a collection bottle but it's in the plan
