Nav Lights
One of my nav lights has blown out and I can't figure out how to open the housing and change the bulb. There are no screws that I can see to remove housing. HELP!

That sure is tiny! I dock stern to so I was sitting on the deck above the light looking down, rendering the screw invisable, just over the "horizon". Thanks sooooo much!

Bulb
Thanks to the excellent help I got the nav light housing off. Then I tried to match the bulb. Hmmmm. 2 contacts plus ground. 2 posts on the side of the base, one high & one low. The only bulb I found with the "indexed" posts was a 2 filament bulb with a different shaped glass bulb. It works, but I'm curious if anyone knows the "official" replacement bulb?

Did some searching, found this:

Let me know if those look right, I should order some myself. From reading the description of the Nav. Light itself I believe you should be using the 25w lamps.

Re: Nav Lights
My Albin 28 is 18 years old so port navigation light bulb was crusted in. Finally got it out and replaced, but must have bent contact points. How do I either bend these back so they touch the contact points? May need to pull the Aqua Signal 41 unit from its mounting so I can bend the metal cap and contact points so they touch bulb. Any recommendations (PS... I am not mechanical and dangerous with a hammer(

Re: Nav Lights
Serenity is also 98. I had to replace the bulb on the starboard nav light. The part # is Aqua Signal 90005-7 12v/10W 15D Bayonet. Defender marine item # 700494. The bulb is expensive at $23.99 ea, I have 2 spares now.

Re: Nav Lights
Boy that's an old thread
Aquasignal makes a new LED version of the Series 41 nav lights. Really sharp and I was going to replace mine but decided to sell before I pulled the trigger. The new ones are very nice but bring your check book.
