Anchor Line Hockles? (Twisting up)

Well, after three years of fighting my anchor line, pulling it off and soaking it in downy, putting back on and then doing it all again. I finally switch out to Brait. Brait is a 8 ply woven line that is made by Yale Cordage. I'm sure other companies make a 8 ply too. This line was specifically designed for anchor lines and lines that take stress and should stretch. This is NOT kurn mantel line. ( two lines in one) which has little stretch and is not suitable for anchor line. Anyway, gone are the twist, gone are the hockles....no more hand feeding the rode into the anchor locker. Highly recommend it for anyone who anchors a lot and is having twisting issues with the current three strand rope.

Interestingly, I've never had this problem. Not sure why you did.
