Does anyone know what company made the Transom shower unit on a 2002 28TE? I suspect mine was broken and the previous owner simply removed the handle leaving the hose and screw on connection. Looking for a source for a new handle/head.

Mine on my 1999 was a "Whale" and I replaced the whole unit. The original one did not have a door. I ordered one with a door but had to rotate it 180 deg to be able to close the door because of the opening in the transom door. The hinge stuck out past the side and into the doorway.

Go to Amazon and search for "Fontana hot / cold transom shower". This is a direct replacement for what was in my 2004 28TE.

Found a much better one for the former 35te at West Marine. Better shut off during the shower and a nicer spray.
