New owner 1985 Albin 27 Aft Cabin

Post by TorreyWP »

Good evening,

I am a very recent, new owner of a 1985 Albin 27 with the Aft Cabin. It has the original Nissan diesel, I believe it is an LD28M. She is also original all around the hull. She starts and runs great, goes good. Loving the feel of a true cruiser!

I have lusted for one of these boats for years...I am the junior mechanic at a marina that took her in on trade and happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Happy to be part of the group!

WelcomeTorreyWP, that is one sweet looking 27. We got our new to us 1986 27 FC home about one year ago. Love the teak but it can keep you busy. The LD 28 is a smooth running engine, you can order shop manuals on line. Hope your boat gives you many years of enjoyment. Thanks, Mark.

Welcome aboard Torrey - if you get down to the Chesapeake Bay in 2016 give me a shout as you steam around Annapolis - Deale. I believe there are only 2 27FCs in the area, so having a trio would be nice.
