When I was first underway and the bow came up in my 28 and the forward bilge water would flow to the stern I would manually flip the the aft bilge switch and 90% of that forward water would pump overboard. As you Mike, I picked my battles too and adding a forward bilge pump under the dinette just never happened.catalina_mike wrote:As soon as you get underway it runs to the stern of the vessel. I had to pick my battles and right now I'm over it. I throw a dish-washing soap packet as others have recommended on this site and got over it. For now!

Re: Water in bilge question
Update. I bought a plug from Home Depot. Stopped 95% of the water. Also bought a hand pump and pumped the forward bilge dry. Should be good for a while. I will keep on it as needed. Mike
