Thanks for the link, it was very well timed for me. I will be hauling out in a few day for replacement of several through hull fittings. I think I will be going with marelon.

I feel like that's a good choice. My wife wants bronze . I think the through hull fitting should always be metal, I've heard of people shearing the plastic ones off. Once inside the boat I feel like the Marelon is smart.
