Hot water heater questiona
So im pretty sure the element in my water heater is bad, but I can't seem to find brand info anywhere on it. Anyone know what brand the water heater would be? Mine is a vertical cylender with a pale yellow exterior, not the silver aluminum box that I've seen in other 28te's

Jeremy, The cover over the heating element usually has a wiring diagram and other info stuck on the inside of the cover. Ben

You should check the safety thermal disk.. Then you can match the old element at the hardware store. Assuming you cant find the model What we know is the voltage, the breaker size, then you just have to match up mounting arrangement. Mine looks to be a Raritan 6 gal.. but again you might be able to match up a local replacement element.

Do you have a pic of your raritan water heater so I can compare?

Jeremy, The W/M and defender catalogues have some good pictures of these units. Maybe try matching one up there. Ben

Did some research for you. This is the one we have. I have included the owners manual as well for trouble shooting.
