Galley Table Post Stuck

Hi Folks,

My adjustable table post for the galley table is stuck in the up table position. Any suggestions on how to un stick it, so we can make a second large bed in the galley area of our 32+2? I can remove it from the base and the table; I can turn the adjustment knob to (theoretically) loosen the inner post from the outer one, but no movement. Am I missing something obvious?

Jim, a common issue on the 28's as well. Do a GOOGLE search of AOG - "Table sticking".

Jim, Did you push down on the pedestal? They're spring loaded inside, and it takes quite a bit of weight to push it down. Good luck, Ben

Did you heavy spray some WD at the base joining tubes? Dead center of the table above tube push down firm and hard?

Not pushing straight down will bind the slide.
