How many gallons of pink or green A/F do I need ?

Hi All, I want to get ready for the winter and I am not sure how many gallons of A/F I will need to winterize my 35 Albin T/E with a 440 Yanmar Diesel. I rather err on the liberal side to be safe. Thanks All.

On our 31 with 370 Cummins 6bta's I put through 5 gals. of pink to flush out water and then put 5 gals. of green through.Usually I just put 10 gals, of pink -50 and had no problems.

I better edit that reply.It is red.It was the old coolant I replaced with EC complete.No sense wasting it.

Around here they kick you out of the boatyard if they catch you dumping traditional coolant in the yard or the marina.

Lucky I'm not at your marina.At spring start up I just pump the into a cutoff plastic barrel and dump in with waste liquids to be disposed of later.

Used 24 gals on ours. 7 per engine (6 probably would have been fine but better to be safe), 3 for the head, 3 for AC, 4 for
fresh water, shower drain etc.
