Rudder Packing
After an hour or so of running, I have a few tablespoons of water that leak in through the rudder. Is that normal or is it ready for an adjustment? If I need to adjust it, the nuts are huge how do I do it?

Rudder Leaking
I had a similar problem. The rudder should not leak so the packing gland either needs to be tightened down or needs additoinal packing. To solve my leak, I took the packing gland apart and added a ring of teflon packing and tightened it down securely. The nut size on my packing gland is about 3/4". I have an 1986 Albin 36 trawler.
