Life is a trade-off. Awlgrip and Awlglass are softer, but easier to repair. Fenders, whether covered or not will scratch when impregnated with salt (or other grit). This was true on our original gelcoat as we regularly put a log canoe on the hip. Contractor recommended 3M purple wax twice a year not Awlcare.

I was quoted $6800. Up here in NY. Included removal of swim platform and all thru hull fittings. Emron

Our price included the swim platform removal, painting and re installation. Choptank composites will use any coating and color desired.
