Peninsular raw water pump

Post by Pedro »

So the raw water pump on my Penninsular completely craps out, Mechanic removes it and the cam has come loose, he re installs the cam, new impeller since he's in there, now he sees its leaking from the seal,$325 labor so far.
"I "remove the water pump (to save some labor)while we wait for new pump from Penninsular, he swaps pulley over to new pump re installs, replaces intake hose, $550 add labor, Does $875 sound like a fair number for such a simple job?
