Any 28 TE owners in Fort Lauderdale?

Post by Norseman »

If so, talk to me:)

I will probably be closing on a 2004 in 2 weeks, pending sea trial and survey.
The boat will be at a private dock in the Citrus Isles, close to SR 84 and will be my Bahamas Escape Capsule:)
Dive, swim, goof off, but no fishing.

Norseman, welcome. I did an advanced search on your area, looks like some owners there. Seems like a hot bed of activity for the 28. Hope something turns up for you. Thanks, Mark.

Norsman: Hope all goes well for you with the 28te. Fine boat for you to enjoy. Nice area to be in as well. Our son lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 3 plus years. We enjoyed seeing him there.

Hello Norseman and welcome to The AOC. It is a great resource to all of us Albin owners. We bought a 2004 last year and love it! Good luck with the sea trial and survey.

Thanks Gents.
The deal fell through, but looking at another 28 TE a few miles North of me.
Not many Albins or 28 TEs in Fort Lauderdale, I am on the water almost every day, never see any.
Must be more of a NE or PNW boat.
Should be ideal for my use though, shooting over to the Bahamas in a few hours, spending a few days on the hook diving and beach combing, then home.
Just under the 30' limit for cheap cruising permits. Over 30 it doubles.
(Unless they changed it again)

Well, I recently met another 28TE in Fort Lauderdale and we made contact.
Today we will probably meet and raft up in Lake Sylvia.
Any other Albins in town, come to the Lake and hang out.
