Plumbing fittings for fresh water system
My 32+2 Southpaw had some freezing adventures over the winter.
I took out the split hot water heater and a welder rejoined the seam.
Now the sink faucet screw on nylon connectors that adapt the plastic press-on plastic pipe connectors are found to be split. West Marine does not have these. Are Albin plumbing connectors available from the factory, or other marine supplier?
I have been finding the next leak by fixing the last one. The joys of "I thought YOU winterized the water system!" Miscommunication costs.
Note to self: Use written punch-list with yard.

Hey Bob,
I second Jack's suggestion. If Standish Boat Yard is in your neighborhood give Ken Hilton a call. He and his crew know these boats well and have provided me with parts via UPS, no problem and prompt.
This is the perfect scenerio where dealer support is important. Best of luck shaking down your problem.

Standish delivers
Ken can get any fitting I need in a day if not in stock.
Very Albin oriented including former factory tech as employee.
A good resource for any Albin owner.

Glad to hear Ken is able to help you out so quickly. Ed Belisle, his employee, is a great guy as well. Ed was a production manager for Albin and sure has alot of knowledge, not to take anything away from Ken. A class act yard.

I'll chime in here. Standish helped me out greatly this spring. They had Ed come to my boat in the next state and work on the stuffing box for me. After he finished, while waiting for word back from his yard, he went over my entire boat with me. Telling me about production sequences, locations for balsa core, float switch locations and on and on. That morning was the best for me. I can reccomend Standish Boatyard for any Albin service. I got their name from Andrew Page. Thanks to Andy and Standish and of course their mechanic Ed Delisle. I hope I spelled his name correctly.
