In our search for an Albin 36 we are finding a surprising number without anchor windlasses which is an absolute must for us.
Do the boats built without windlasses have a cable pre-installed? Any information on the difficulty of a windlass installation and running the necessary wiring through the boat would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the link to the schematic for the "classic" 36 and it shows there is a breaker and wiring for a windlass.
If there isn't, then running wires should be easy if it is anything like my 40 classic.

Thanks for the link to the schematic. However, when I click it, I'm told I don't have the "required permissions" to view items on that forum. I'm seeing that a lot as I start to look around this site even though I now have an account and am logged in. I'm new here and not sure what is going on. Why shouldn't I be able to view things like that and other information?
