I have a volvo kamd42. WHat type of fluid is used in it ??? Is it the oil you would use in the engine ?? Manuel is a bit vague

I have not worked on your box but it looks like you have a Hurth 630 V and should be topped up using ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid). Does not the manual say you should use Dexron 11D or 111.
Do not use engine oil.

yes it is part of the transmission and toped it off with AFT.. thank s
