Can You Take Your Big Boat Away Please?

We've got the Theodore Roosevelt in the bay over here in the UK this week because its too big to enter the harbour.

It's all very nice and that but there is one problem. I think half of England has come to see it. The coast roads are no go areas now and my commute home took 2 hours last night when its only normally 45 minutes. It has also just taken me 35 minutes to travel 4 miles across town!

Would be nice to see a flyover from some of the jets though.

Haha. We've got to dredge the entire harbour and approaches for our new ones and they're only just over half the size at 60,000 tonnes! Crazy thing is, the worlds largest containership visits the next port quite often and that's bigger than the Theodore by over 50%. Still, we've got the USS Winston Churchill alongside in the harbour.
