Have no fear, the nice weather will move your way. Low 80s in Florida today. Here is how it works, the warm air builds up down here, when we can not hold anymore it moves North. You should have it in two to three weeks, enjoy.

It's pretty tough to gear up into boat mode without access.

I just got off of the phone with my diesel mechanic and he can't get to 95% of the recreational work on his plate, but all of the commercial work is caught up. When the weather breaks it will be chaotic! Glad I'm all caught up!

The ice has just started to move in our local river ...

The only thing to do when it snows in spring, is go skiing. So that is what I did. Plastic wrap to come off this week, and just maybe I will splash my 28 this up coming weekend.

 Well it will take more than a few sunny days in the 40's to melt that.

Again this weekend it was t-shirt weather here - around 16-17 degrees C (low 60's).

Sadly, it was spent cooped up in the bilge replacing anode cables. Its quite amazing what being surrounded by water can do to the air temperature.

Night time frosts this week and hopefully that will be it!

Sorry to see all that white H2O. We have been enjoying unseasonable warm weather here in SW Florida. Going to the Rendezvous at Burnt Store for a day to connect with all the other Florida Albins. May bring a pic of the snow covered Albin to throw empty margarita glasses at. Cheers!

Ugh, back down to 8 again tonight. My husband said tonight it will be late May. "For what," I asked, "splash?" "No," he replied, "taking the cover off." I really hope he's wrong. He said someone reported ice fishing up in the inland sea over the weekend and barely making it through the ice with a power augur . . . 36" of it.

Y'all down there in Florida could send some of that weather up here, ya know.

New transom door I'm assuming? So not really sad...just under the weather. At least you're not feeling like she should be all waxed and launched!!

Nice addition, Rob! Are you doing the work yourself? Looks like your timing will work out perfectly.

Thanks, yeah we got sick of climbing over those gunnels in no time at all. I am not, this one I am leaving to the guys that do this stuff all day every day. Timing should be good, Mother Nature delayed the project a bit, but that delay is pretty much throughout the entire Spring launch process on the northeast this season, as you are WELL aware I see. I've kept busy this off season with my own work - full electronics, engine instrumentation and alarms, high water bilge alarms, etc etc
