Post by Elefantdan »

Hello fellow Albineers,

Just want to wish everyone on AOG a great boating season 2015.

Made a video of our first cruise this year onboard "Formidable" Albin 25 1972, in Copenhagen waters, last sunday.
Enjoy
All the best
Dan

Nice video. Your A25 is a 1972? What is your hull number? Our A25 is a 1971, hull number 736 (hence the 736 in my user name), now residing in Arizona USA. We were just out on our boat yesterday on a man made lake near Phoenix. Probably a bit warmer here than in Copenhagen, 21 degrees C for a high, 5 degrees C for overnight low.

Hi DesertAlbin736,
Thanks! ,
My haul number is 1343 so among the 20 last produced in 1972.
Yeah the temperature here is slightly colder from freezing to plus 8 c´s we did have below freezing temps earlier, but this winter its very mild unlike other years were -10 c were common.
mmm 21 c´s I´m looking forward to those days coming in earliest May :-)
cheers

Thanks Elefantdan for the wishes, if you ever find your way to Florida stop by. We are very fortunate here, our old boating season ends on the day the new season starts. We were truly blessed with weather and water. What better way to enjoy our boats.

Hello Coolchange!
Sry been offline for a while,
Thats really an amazing trip you had there in BC! Beautiful pictures, would love to have that scenery for my albin :-)

Never know when a trip could take me to that part of the world, renting a boat there would be great.

Let me know more details about your trip to Copenhagen, I would gladly meet up for a beer/coffee, maybe even come by "your" big boat :-) with my Albin.
Cheers
Dan
