Window trim water leak

Post by zonk84 »

We have a wonderful '77 Deluxe. However for years we had water leakage around the window rubber gaskets in both cabins. I bought a double supply of new replacement gaskets along with the installation tools and after trying to install the new gasket on one side window of the rear cabin for over two hours I had enough. I ordered Bommar ports and the local boat builder took out all the windows, glassed the openings, installed the Bommar ports and gave "Tonina" a major face lift. What did I achieve? Cool and airy cabins, No more water leaks and a more sure footed decking. My wife and I have a piece of mind in the off season. I am posting this because I did not see other members take this drastic approach to solve the problem of leaky windows. I hope that I transferred the photos correctly.

It may just be me, but I can't see the photos. All I see is the text for the photo name.
