Head Plumbing

Post by PonusNick »

Can someone provide or direct me to a schematic of the head plumbing on a 1985 A 27? The head is saltwater and there is a valve to pump either overboard or into the holding tank...but there is another valve and piping leading to a diaphragm pump in a small compartment below the helm. Ultimately, I'd like to set it up to flush with salt but only into the holding tank.

This sounds like a modification some PO made, I don't have anything like that on my 27FC. Where do the lines to/from the diaphragm pump run? Perhaps the diaphragm pump is used to empty the holding tank when in legal discharge areas?
