THE LONG SEARCH FOR A 35TE SPORTFISHER UPGALLEY

Post by whwells »

Have reported the sale of Nibbles elsewhere. Now begins the long search for it's replacement and hopefully within the Albin Family. Cruising in the NW is my first love even more that local fishing. What I find in taking up friends is more room for storage is needed. The Upgalley has two bunks across from the head/shower enclosure that closes off. Makes for great storage and confront for all.

The search will be difficult as few were made. Hopefully, someone will know of such a boat and bring it too my attention. Any of the engines will work although in order of preference it would be Volvo, Cummins, or Yanmar twins.

There may be a few other series that will work for us and still stay with the ALBIN FAMILY. Considered the NORTH SEA CUTTER 40' but found they have some serious water problems as well as hull issues. Otherwise they are beautiful boats.

Hi Howard
My wife and I are thinking about putting our Albin TE 35' up for sale. We had an ad made up a few years ago when we were thinking of going up in size and I will attach that for you. The pictures are accurate but I did add Taco outriggers, 3 Scotty downrigger mounts, a new Array 6KW 72 mile radar and additional Raymarine C80 display. It is a fantastic fishing boat. It has the up galley and a beautiful interior. I think ballpark of 130k is the price. We are looking at at finally getting the bigger boat and wish Albin made the same TE in a 50. You can call me at anytime if you want more information. I am in CA in Half Moon Bay, a little South of San Francisco.

John: Thank you for the posting. The boat does look beautiful and with twin Cummins 370's very special indeed. I am a freak, however, for the flybridge. Your up galley is just what I need. Don't think I could manage without the flybridge but will give it some thought.

I have a 1999 35' Flybridge w/ upgalley that might interest you. It has twin 350 cats, teak and holly sole and many options. Boat is in New England.

twells: I am aware the boat is in New England area. Understand the bridge would have to come off for transport. That is not a fun thing, but I have done it previously on the 35te Sportfisher Series with my former boat Nibbles.
Looking forward to your contact.

Nancy: Did send twells a PM. No response. Maybe the cold weather had got him holed up somewhere.

twells: If you are serious about the sale of your Albin please do get back to me soon. I have not made the jump to a Saber as it is not my first choice.
Did you get snowed in there?
