Switch Positions

Post by Farmer38 »

Hi,

At the helm switch controls there are a number of three position switches.

Am I correct that Left position is Auto, Center is Off and Right is manual (bilge for example.)

Thanks!

I am not sure there is a standard for them...if someone (including the manufacturer) put one or more of them in up side down the opposite could be true. this could be done intentionally (to make an important one stand out) or maybe someone just put it in upside down. I would definitely check each one and verify operation. Maybe a good time to spray some anti corrosion on the connections too.

I think this is one of those things that you have to actually test to find out.

Auto / Off / momentary on. Not sure why a bilge pump could be turned off...
