my 27 FC is 72 gallons single tank. Never had it empty so can say for sure.

My 1987 27 F c has twin tanks that hold 36 gallons each. Interesting how there are a number of different variations with the tanks. I too have the Nissan, a 78hp engine that ours like a kitten.....love it.

The Nissan being a six cylinder engine and a good bit longer than the 4D61 four cylinder has it's transmission extended into the area where the single tank mounts on the earlier version, so it utilizes dual outboard tanks as opposed to the earlier center mounted single tank
