Honda generator mounting
Thinking about mounting on top of rear
cabin. Don't have a swim platform. Any
suggestions. Have a Albin 25.

Re: Honda generator mounting
H: I'm going to be using a Honda gen too. I have a swim platform but decided against mounting it there since I will be sleeping in the aft cabin. My forward cabin is for the galley and head. I'm planning on mounting my gen just fwd of the A27 pilothouse in a ventilated box, next to the mast. This might not work for you in an A25.
An alternative would be some sort of shelf off the stern pulpit maybe. You could make something form king starboard and attach it off the stern or the stern pulpit. But that would depend how you use the aft cabin. The usual safety precautions apply.

Hopscotch, the 2000 seems to be very cost effective, I had thought about the 1000, guess I getting to old to tote the big brother around. This getting old is not all it is cracked up to be. Thanks, Mark
